Peter McDermott

Peter entered the West Surrey College of Art & Design at the age of fifteen, becoming the college's youngest student. After five years formal training, he spent eighteen years in London where he rose to the position of Creative Director within a highly respected agency. Feeling compelled to change direction, he then relocated to Scotland, the country of his father, to pursue his love of watercolour painting. Now based on the Isle of Skye with his family, Peter has been painting professionally for many years, enjoying successful exhibitions throughout Scotland. He exhibits from Easter to October at his gallery in Aird, Sleat, and is represented in many private collections around the world.
