Salisbury Crags, Holyrood

The artwork presents a dramatic diagonal sweep of the volcanic crags from foreground to background, with Edinburgh's distinctive skyline silhouetted against a pale sky. The walking path provides a subtle leading line through the composition, drawing the eye towards the distant city.
