Jill McIntosh

The West Coast is a magical place for Jill. Her love and fascination for the mountains and shorelines lies deep in her heart and dominates her work. Jill uses acrylics with a knife technique which enables the realisation of very fine detail whilst maintaining a dynamic fluidity. She calls her work "weatherscapes." Jill lived abroad for almost twenty years where she often exhibited, whilst visiting the West Coast every year for inspiration and to renew her acquaintance with the Atlantic Ocean. She has now returned home and stays in Perthshire, and is a member of the Society of Scottish Artists.
