Dunfermline Abbey

The composition presents a dramatic low-angle perspective emphasising the imposing Romanesque and Gothic architecture of the abbey. The ancient stone walls dominate the left portion whilst the tower and spires draw the eye rightward. Framing foliage softens the upper corners and a manicured graveyard provides foreground interest.
