Sundown over Bute

Horizontal composition with strong emphasis on the sky occupying the upper two-thirds of the canvas. The sun positioned slightly left of centre creates a vertical reflection that draws the eye through the calm water to the foreground tidal flats. Scattered boats provide scale and visual interest across the middle ground.
