The Queens View

The artwork employs a classic landscape composition with strong horizontal layers, drawing the eye from the sunlit foreshore in the lower left, across the calm waters of the loch, towards the commanding snow-capped peak in the background. A small tree-covered island provides a natural focal point in the middle distance.
