Silverburn Reflections

Horizontal banded composition divided into three principal zones: an expansive cloud-filled sky, a dark silhouetted treeline punctuating the midground above a strip of olive grass, and a pale foreground of water or sand. The strong horizon line draws the eye across the canvas, while the dense black mass of trees provides tonal contrast against the luminous sky and foreground.
