Ardbeg, Isle of Islay

The composition draws the eye from the colourful wildflower-covered foreground on the left, across the turquoise waters of the bay, to the iconic white distillery buildings bearing the Ardbeg name. Purple-hued rocks provide visual interest in the mid-ground, while distant mountains and dramatic clouds complete the scene.
