The artwork presents a layered coastal scene with a prominent grey seal in the foreground, positioned on rocky shore. A traditional stone cottage sits on elevated rocks in the middle ground, with a small boat moored nearby. The sky dominates the upper portion with dramatic swirling cloud formations suggesting aurora or atmospheric phenomena.
