The artwork features a central stone cottage with a distinctive tartan-patterned roof positioned in the lower third of the composition. Dramatic sweeping clouds dominate the upper portion, with rain falling from billowing formations. A murmuration of birds creates movement across the sky whilst two pheasants occupy the foreground, providing scale and narrative interest.
